Ms. Talia Shifron has dedicated her studies and career to family and matrimonial law. She uses her zealous advocacy to navigate the complexities of family disputes and work towards obtaining favorable results for her clients based on their individualized goals.
Ms. Shifron joined the Women’s Divorce & Family Law Group by Haid and Teich, LLP, in 2016 as a law clerk and after that was hired on as an associate attorney with the firm. Over the years, she has expanded her knowledge of family law issues and complex custody disputes. While in law school, Ms. Shifron represented children in high-conflict domestic relations and child protection cases through the Loyola Civitas Child Law Clinic. Ms. Shifron also interned with the Juvenile Division of the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian. Before attending law school, Ms. Shifron worked in the Baltimore City Public School System advocating on behalf of the communities most vulnerable children and families.
Ms. Shifron received her Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Child and Family Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She was a member of and served as Senior Articles Editor for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. Ms. Shifron received two CALI Academic Achievement Awards for earning the highest grade in her Police Accountability and Child Law Clinic courses. Ms. Shifron obtained her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, where she double majored in legal studies and journalism. Ms. Shifron is a member of the American Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association.
