Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. During law school, Sarah volunteered with the Domestic Violence Courthouse Pilot Project, clerked for the Honorable Alfred Paul, worked as a law clerk for a boutique family law firm, and utilized her 711 law license to represent clients through the mediation clinic at DePaul University College of Law.

After graduating, Sarah volunteered with the Center for Disability & Elder Law, where she assisted with guardianship petitions, wills and Power of Attorney designations.
